A Stunning Location: On Chincoteague, directly facing Assateague, and on Deep Hole Creek, a natural tidal creek that watermen still use for their daily trips to fish, crab and harvest shellfish.
Swim and boat from the docks, or just pass the day catching crabs; head to the beach and the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge at Assateague; Exploring the town of Chincoteague is always popular..
It is about two miles to the bridge to Assateague and the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and the beach at Assateague, and about a mile to the shops in town.
Our views are all "natural", across bays and marsh all the way to Assateague and the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. The photos do not do it justice! All three houses have deep water docks.
Eureka! (sleeps max 18)
Stupendous, fantastic.. are words used to describe this house, its design, its amenities, and its location. This is the premier vacation rental on Chincoteague. Completed in 2009, it has a main house (sleeps 12) and a spectacular guest house (sleeps 6) across the breezeway. The main house has an Elevator, and a 2nd refrigerator.
PETS are NEVER allowed at Eureka!
Epiphany (sleeps max 10)
Completed in 2003, is a little behind and to the side, with its own dock for water access. It also has spectacular views, and has received major updates in the past two years. Epiphany has lots of indoor and outdoor gathering space.
Pets allowed by permission only at Epiphany, with an additional fee.
Both Eureka! and Epiphany have "Reverse" floor plans with a second floor great room, modern kitchens; bedrooms on the first floor with a bathroom for each bedroom (most have private decks), and spectacular views from all of the rooms. Eureka!, besides being larger, is a little more upscale (bigger bedrooms, granite instead of formica, etc.)..
Morning Song (sleeps max 10)
Next door to Epiphany, overlooking its own marsh and waterfront, Morning Song is older, but recently updated. It has the same great location, and a lower price... All on one floor, there a Great Room with a fully equipped modern kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, steps to a roof-top observation deck and a deep water dock.
Pets allowed by permission only at Morning Song, with an additional fee.
